Just found a Sight and Sound 45 by the Zion All Stars with the same title as the Count Ossie and Karl Bryan track - think it's same one??? This sounds crisp!

Re: Count Ossie and Karl Bryan Black Up
it wouldn't be the first time a studio one song is credited to different names... sight & sound released studio one stuff.
it is reasonable to think it is the same song. what's on the flipside?
PS : "Holy Mount Zion" is credited to zion all stars or count ossie & the zion all stars... these zion all stars seem to be related to count ossie.

according to "never grow old" this should be king stitt's "no man version" on no man is an island riddim.
this song appears on the very easy-to-find and very popular souljazz release...
go to your local supermaket and there's a good chance you'll finally find it

I'm satisfied with the old records I find - it's more about fate that way than choosing from the eighteen billion compilations out these days.
