Sleng Teng essentially ruined reggae for me. Tons of horrible digital albums were released after 1985. Terrible tracks, digitally created rhythms and poor production values.
I too am happy in pre '85 land.

"Dub out of Poland" answered my question perfectly.(tu) and i agree that the spark that was found within the reggae sounds of pre 85` started to disappear by 85` onwards! the addition of synth drums is ashame, even though i have allot of post 85` reggae and do enjoy it too! why did they not just stick to the original drums?
