who created it? i mean i hear michael rose and junior reid yami bolo and some other singers doing "stanni oh", "tutu tweng" and what is this waterhouse style about?? i hope you know more

I don't think anyone is really sure who originated it. It's commonly regarded that Michael Rose and Don Carlos where the first it.

As does Don Carlos :)

When it comes to reggae all styles have been originated by dozens of artist if you only listen to their version of it.

My personal opinion is that the vocal style is something that just was happening there and Michael + Carlos where the first ones to pick it up and evolve it to what it became. I would give them both as much credit.

Sugar Minott is one veteran too in waterhouse style!!!
Myrie and Marshall are the bigs producers of this style in the early 80's

bout carlos & roze, they both create their own style but who really start it is carlos. no doubt, mykal roze was a young bwoy.
