Just took a listen, This one sounds mid to late 70's maybe....but I have an '83 version of this same tune produced by Hugh (U) Brown, sung by the Tamlins...I don't know for sure, but I would venture to say that your version is possibly an earlier version, also by the Tamlins....or even maybe under one of thier solo names...Junior Moore or Derrick Lara perhaps?

Thanks for the tip, jahadambom.
It'd be great if somebody could confirm and narrow-down the version that I've shared.
I appreciate the starting point, though!

Thanks, look!
Any idea if it's the same version that's on their "Soul Beat" LP/CD (Studio 1)

No - it is definitely not the same version - this is much later.
The Soul Beat version is an awesome Rock Steady tune (awesome Rocksteady album!) - this sounds like it is about 15 years on!

Thanks, MightyZ.
Anybody have the label and catalog number for the 7" that this version is on?
I'm having trouble figuring that out.
Thanks.
