Anyone who struggles with computing stuff might want to ditch their PC and invest in a Mac.Version Control wrote: leggo rocker - thanks for the advice but I don't have Mac

The Mac's operating system is far simpler, more user friendly, extremely reliable and of course, they don't suffer from malware like - virus, spyware, dialers and nagging pop-ups about 'illegal operations' etc etc.
You also don't have to play around with drivers every time you want to install a new mouse, keyboard, hard drive etc etc.
Installing new programs is a drag and drop operation that is usually completed in a few seconds.
It's so easy that even my wife can use a Mac as a 'power user'!
I'm actually very handy with computers. I used to work at IBM when I was very young and owned one of the very early Apple computers (1986 I think) and the very first model Macintosh (1987). But they were very expensive then and so I had Windows machines for many years after that. But now I would never go back after buying another Mac about 7 years ago.
