Gussie Clarke - Black Foundation Dub

Jacob Miller meets the Fatman Riddim Section

Michael Prophet - Jah Love

I`ve been offered the above C.D`s, are they worth purchasing ?

Thanks

Black foundation Dub is, if you like traditional solid dub (King Tubby mix). Pretty cheap direct from the record label motion who sell on ebay. But not heard the rest. Never heard any Michael Prophet I didn't like though...

Black Foundation is a MUST! One of the greatest dubalbums ever released. Heavy productions as only Gussie could do them.

The JM and FRS-album is also great. I can recommend both of them.

The Michael Prophet-album I haven't heard yet.

The Michael Prophet is good IMHO. It's a little better than Love Is An Earthly Thing but not as good as Serious Reasoning or Gunman. I am a fan of his and have most of his works. Jah Love is probably my 5th favorite album of his. In other words, worth owning but not his best. Hope that helps.
