Trojan Fan Club Release Quantities?

greetings!
i just purchased the CD reissue of the Tennors "Reggae Girl" (stellar, BTW!) - and it is numbered on the back. I cannot find any info on the Trojan site as to how many of the numbered "fan club" releases there are - anyone have any info? Also, I am looking for a schedule of what's next for these great re-releases, and/or what has been issued...

the tappa zukie "escape from hell" re-release is also a "fan club" release. this is an awesome album with loads of bonus tracks. i am also curious to know what other "fan club" releases have already come out or are on the way.

1000 was the amount mentioned on the old Trojan website but some releases go over 1000 mark, the highest i've heard about was 1033.

They are regular non-numbered editions (just the CD without the numbered slipcase)

What has been issued so far under the Trojan "Fan Club" banner is

Feb 06 Derek Harriott - Rocksteady Party
May 06 The Hippy Boys - Reggae With The Hippy Boys
Aug 06 Keith Hudson - Entering The Dragon
Oct 06 Tapper Zukie - Escape From Hell
Feb 07 The Tennors & Friends - Reggae Girl 2CD
June 07 Duke Reid - Duke Reid Rock's Steady 2CD

So judging by the release rate another one could be released September or October (What Trojan will be releasing over next few months is unknown due to the website no longer having the info)

thanks, mick d and paul - good info! it's a bit frustrating not being able to find the info on the trojan website, but i knew i could count on this forum and the AWESOME members! i'm happy to say, i've got all those releases except the duke reid one!

I also wonder why people spend money on websites only to leave them stale and fallow like a field freshly ploughed but never sewn with seed to produce a crop. Very odd.

But then anyone who has ever run, or been involved with, a website knows just how time consuming it all can become!

Trojan got bought out and has new owners just like greensleeves.
How they love to digitally remaster stuff so as to get out of paying royalties.
