Most valuable for reggae music imho. Random Stated. Producer is here seen as financing and/or defining the sound as an engineer.
-Coxsone Dodd dominated the beginning
-Duke Reid dominated the rock steady
-Hookim brothers when channel one was at his peak
-Pete Weston Micron label is an important roots force
during the 70'. Unigue because important as 7 inch and
as a long player label.
-Lee Perry gave BMW the foundation to become a world
wide reggae act. And for us the Black Ark which
made the timeless reggaesound into a future reggaesound.
I am waiting for that sound to return in the future.
