Informative thread, but REALLY depressing to read :(

But ya know all the classic reggae artists that were big in the 70's are gettin up there in age now... leaving this place for whatever comes next.

Billy Boyo:
"Although many rumors state that he had been shot, he actually died of a brain tumour in 2000."

Little Harry's hiding out, and the pigs are after him! :D : http://www.amazon.ca/Where-Little-Harry ... 0744575257

Naw, "Little Harry is currently living in Kingston, Jamaica."
http://reggaelicious.pbwiki.com/Little+Harry

I don't know how credible those sources are. Also there is a link to Little Harry's myspace page in the last link, wouldn't load for me though.

I heard I roy died on the streets of kingston in 1999 homeless. Same year as Pablo.

I have a tape recording mentioning Nitty Gritty as Tenor Saws murderer.. then others mention Super Cat, this is a long long story and i dont thin kanyone really knows what happened.

Banana man - died in 2001 (unsure on how)

It is a long story. What I have heard varies greatly from whats on your tape. Here's what I've heard:

As far as I know Nitty and Tenor were good friends. Nitty wrote tributes to Tenor after his death and they shared a few albums.

Super Cat was commonly believed to be the murderer of Nitty Gritty but could never be linked to his death.

Anyone else know more???

That I Roy situation is both sad and frustrating. A man with such talent and wisdom doesn't deserve such a fate... him in a better place, zion keep him well!
