Black Slate split around 1982 with members Bassie Elroy Bailey doing some session work through the 80s and Anthony Brightly becoming owner of the UK 'Sir George' label.
Cultural Roots' original line-up split after recording the 'Running back to me' album for Prince Jammys in 1988. Lead singer and main writer Hubert Brooks left and no trace of him can be found from that day on. Remainders joined with the late Devon Russell to record two more albums, 'Rougher Yet' (1989) for Redman and 'Money, sex & violence'(1990) a self-production. Both were in a poor digital style. After Devon Russell left to follow again his solo career Cultural Roots went quiet.
Killer Bees ? Weren't they from the States and had a record produced by or backing Lee Perry ?
Killer Natives I never heard of.
Are they worthwhile ?
Greetings

Killer Bees, from Austin, Texas, are no longer. Frontman Michael E. Johnson passed away several years ago.
