Does anyone know the words to the chorus of "dice cup" by don carlos??

I believe he's saying "bar, bar, bar the dice now star" because someone's playing a crooked game with loaded dice.

Re: dice cup
A really great song this and I agree with DonBanyan, that's what is sounds like to me.
I don't want to veer this off topic too much. But...
How does playing with loaded dice work? Does each player bring their own dice? Or, if they are sharing the same set, how does it work to one player's advantage and not another?
Excuse my ignorance but I've never been a gambling man!

Don't know about the dice, but if I may veer a bit off topic myself, what happened to Gold? He was to Don Carlos what Fathead was to Yellowman, but does he have any solo work?

not 100% sure leggo, and i would think it would vary from di to dileggo rocker wrote: How does playing with loaded dice work? Does each player bring their own dice? Or, if they are sharing the same set, how does it work to one player's advantage and not another?
but remember, the(legal)dice have the same weight all around, making it so you have no control over how it lands.
if the di is loaded then it isn't even so you can learn that it will land a certain way depending on the force you throw it with, angle etc.
and since the other players haven't had the chance to use the di and practice with it they'll just throw it normally

I saw a don carlos interview (natty dread magazine July 2005) where he said that Gold had been shot and lost an arm .... He's paralyzed and is no longer in music but still lives in Jamaica .... sad story

Re: dice cup
I knew it was about weight but hadn't got my head around how that would be useful given that the other player will also throw the same dice. But your explanation seems sensible, as indeed the term loaded refers to the weight distribution being loaded rather than even.staas wrote:leggo rocker wrote :

How about this?
"A variable loaded die is hollow with a small weight and a semi-solid substance inside, usually wax, whose melting point is just lower than the temperature of the human body. This allows the cheater to change the loading of the die by breathing on it or holding it firmly in hand, causing the wax to melt and the weight to drift down, making the chosen opposite face more likely to land up."

Thanks 6anbatte. I guess I should have just Googled it! But it's just nice to talk and to ask real people instead of search engines every now and then!
