Help identify this Horace Andy tune!

Post by Roots_Rocker_Matt »

Hello roots brothers!

I have a song that I'm trying to identify, I found it on a Mikey Dread "dread at the controls" broadcast mix. Mikey introduces it as "Here is Horace Andy, in a different frame of mind" so I thought that was the title of the song. Sounds like early reggae/ska.

Chorus goes "She said shes found somebody new, to take my place, I said don't feel so all alone, I've found someone of my own". Some other lines are "My woman came in, and sat down by my side, with tears in her eyes, i said speak whats on your mind"

I've looked through his discography in the archives, could the song be "Something's On My Mind"?

EDIT: I will post a sound clip later tonight...

If you register and join the site it downloads VERY fast. The slow download speed is for unregistered users only.
