African Rubber Dub

Post by Dizzle »

I just bought this album, produced by Bim Sherman, and mixed by Sherwood and Tubby. It's on the Revolution label. Can anyone tell me anything else about it? The mix is really odd. The cymbals and percussion are almost obtrusively loud. Is it a legitimate release? EB Reggae lists it for $200. Any guidance thanks.

Someone gave me this for free a year or so back for birthday present out of their old bashed up collection, id say EB (as usual) has gone nuts on the pricing of it

Yeah Eb Reggae hasn't got the most consistent prices. All the same, it's a solid collection of dubs and has some unusual sounds on it so no worries.

Hi DUDLEY 1NE

It isn't that album. It this one (sort of);

**["African Rubber Dub"](http://www.discogs.com/release/459085)**

I've just taken a flier on it for £10 from Revival Records. I say *"sort of"* because the Revolver album has 7 tracks as opposed to 10.
