@ACEtone - "Uptown Babies" is (IMO) a beautiful song and one of my favourites...
@Rob-Strictly Rockers (way back when- in case you never got the answer) - Vosene is/was a brand of shampoo. Maybe a new subject for RA but there's been a few off topic discussions over the years!

@Jah Titus, with all respect, I disagree - listening to the Tichion track again. i really do think he means Attrition.
That is what he is describing. the song doesn't make sense if he means politician. Listen again...
respect

mi was referring to Tichion as slang word derived from (poli)***tician***
in any case, thematic is tribal war among politrickal gangs

Thanks Jesco,
If it is Vosene (which it does sound like) how does it fit in to the PNP policies? Was there a special need for medicated shampoo in JA around 76?
Regards
Rob

Rob - I could be getting onto dodgy ground here but I was assuming shampoo to be another Babylonian product like combs, razors etc...

dis is de story
of a family
who live in the ghetto

for de mom in the family as well
from ghetto living by prince fari..a great tune about the brutality meted out to the poor by the system, as true everywhere today as when prince fari said it.
