Mighty Cloud

Post by Ites »

Anyone else who like the Mighty Cloud productions out here?? Mighty Cloud was a label run by George McLean - aka 'Bobby Mac', not Bertram 'Ranchie' McLean as stated elsewhere, they had big mid 70's hits like the great Peaceful Rasta by Levi Williams, Pain In My Belly by Shelton Walks, The Same Folks by the Mighty Cloud Band. That label was also a shop and a band, as well as the more famous label. They did produce Jah Woosh in his heyday as well, great stuff. Pity so few of his recordings is out there nowadays, if you see something on that label, pick it up.

Not familiar to this board, Bobby Mac's label? That means another one who should do some rereleases oe of these days, but I'm afraid he won't as many of those people are now out of the business
