First tune is by Ras Mykal according to the Asher Selector session I heard it on, lyrics go: "There's a man who, god almighty, there's a man who, rule creation, rule creation, from mount zion, rule creation from ethiopia, kings of kings, lord of lords, conquering lion, tribe of judah.......he's almighty, he's annointed, as appointed, hail him haille, hail him mighty....."

Is this released or available and if so, how so?


Second tune I don't know the artist or the name of the song. I heard it around late '94 to early '95 on Bobby Konders radio show(NYC) lyrics from what I can remember go something like this: "Man a try use me and try abuse but gangsta man nah go get tricked so easy...." Unfortunately that is all I have, also, the voice saying the first part is a very low bassy voice similar perhaps to how Beenie Man sounds on Barrington Levy's '95 remix of Murderer. The second part may or may not be the same artist changing his voice to a mocking tone or another artist altogether that is part of a duet but this voice is a much higher mocking tone sounding something like Red Rat I guess for lack of a better comparison.

Anyone know these tunes? Thanks

The first tune is "King of Kings" on the Ras Michael/Zion Train album from 1988. In my opinion it's the only good track on the album. Never really identified exactly what Ras Michael does on the album though. Playing kette perhaps? It's more a HR (Bad Brains) album than Ras Michael. Very American in sound.
