yes some are selling crap, some are artificially pushing the prices :D

but not all french sellers are bad for sure.
r_publik wrote: but post office is truly bad...those lazy bastards with no organisation...
what do you think of using false accounts to push the prices ? : imo, this is a lazy bastard behaviour and even dishonest : want more in less time :)

sorry, maybe you have changed but you're not in the best position to criticize postal services.

I'm not a former client and I don't work in the postal service but that kind of comment is quite funny coming from you !

*C'est l'hôpital qui se fout de la charité !*

To end with french sellers, I recently had problems with
studioonemaster926 which sells way overgraded records and send in economic priority while it was payed for recorded but I think the new feedback policy on ebay is killing him :D.

i was just talking about reliability of service.

but what you are saying is true, that's what i did and i have apologize for my behaviour, maybe not in here i don't remember exactly, so if not i am apologizing again today.

at that time Reggae Auction was just starting and i was selling some killer records like for example little howie - what a calamity, i just couldn't let go for 10£.
so i had to place a bid with a false account as a reserve price , this particular one finally went for 48£ (my reserve false bid was around 35 i think) and i can tell you the buyer i know is crazyly happy
i think for ebay that was at least a 80£ tune
anyway that ain't right at all to do that, and i'm not very proud of it and that's why i'm only selling at buy now, and i'm not messing around anymore to try to regain some bit of trust.
having rare records in mint condition, sometimes you can fear the worst with taking the risk to see it go for a little price, when you know what it's worth.

this is just to explain it's not an excuse or anything.

a lazy behavior i don't know but it is surely dishonest.

I have done bad things by using false accounts to push prices higher but why exactly can't i criticize postal services?

About grading, tunes, quality and speed of shipping process and overall quality of service and even sometimes SAV i've always try to provide the kind of service i was expecting as a buyer.

I am sorry for what i did, i hope that at least some think i have assuming my actions fully.

i don't know what more can i say about this, the way you are coming against me like that.

i am just trully sorry.

at least he is sorry, contrary to the other sellers named here and he shows he has changed, good point for him !

Thanks for your answer !

Mine was to show that nobody is perfect. I use regularly the postal services (for records mainly) and I must say I'm pretty satisfied. The only thing I did is to find a quiet time at the post office, just before 12am for instance.

Not a single packet lost in 5 years and several hundreds of packets sent and received !

I've only had one or two problems with ebay sellers but what is strange to me is for example: I am bidding on an item and quickly a seller with no feedback or just one outbids me, usually that seller has outbid me and a day later the seller sends me an email telling me either he has the same item (extra copy) or he will sell me the item for the ended bidding since the other seller did not pay! Which makes me think the seller has many accounts and uses it to increase bids. It has happened to me 2 or 3 times with the seller. ID: KINGSTON_DON from the US.

Yeah Mexicojah, that sounds like a total scam, i wouldnt pay the price. The Tune will come around again and you wont have to worry about the high price.

r_publik seems to be alright, i just ordered a few tunes off him and im not too concerned, im 95% sure they'll show.

thank you ital for your nice comment, i really apreciate it!

bullit, your records are on their way to you, package will be shipped today at 12, hope you receive package safely and quickly.

mexicojah, what you are describing happenned to quite everyone dealing on ebay i presume as it happenned to me a lot as a buyer. the main problem comes from the second chance offer function...it open large opportunity for malicious activities, too easy to have someone bid and offer the record after the auction at the maximum bid of the genuine buyer. it also comes because it's possible to contact everymember and particularly the ones bidding on the auction in that case...

whats wrong with you ?

why not talk about sellers and experiences ???

a feedback also show wether the item was graded correct ?? especially in this vinyl buisness is trust in sellers very important imo.

ill rather pay more $$ for rare LP´s, but i know for sure i receive the item correct graded.
