Maybe it would be a good initiative to create some sort of 'certified' seller network maps. Something like the LinkedIn network.

Your reactions are welcome.....

replying to last mantado message: (sorry i 've done the quote thing wrong and it didn't worked)

well that's exactly what i think:)

just a way to say that feedback isn't clearly sufficient (and never left with usefull comments for others) as there is no way to tell about all the aspect of the deal made...and after!

Laaawd have mercy!! Trouble again with a french seller. Missing my record! I asked him when he sent the vinyl and he answers if my address changed. I ask him which address he shipped to. He answers...was shipped last week or so. I ask him if the record was returned to him. He doesn´t answer.

Can´t believe it. It took 4 days when I shipped a record to tokyo. Should it take 4 weeks from france to germany?
Unbelievable.

I can´t take this stupidness. Pls pull off the baguette outta your a**hole and start thinking!

heh, was gonna say!.
Im still waiting to hear back from my elusive RA member :P Lots of good info on here so far..

update:
well, the records i was waiting for came! on the parcel it says 2nd and 6th of July a day after my post (5th) of mentioning i might reveal the RA user on this thread. Its possible that date reflects when it was found by some postie or something but seems suspect.

24th April i was first told was posted, then on May 24th told it was posted mid the previous week; then told i should get it mid week the following week after the 17th June.
Feels like the end of a journey..

A few years ago I ordered some vinyl directly from Francisco Records by credit card. I live in the US and this was the only purchase I made from the UK at the time. Shortly after, my credit card company called me and said someone in the UK was trying to make an online purchase with my credit card info for something that was around $8000.

To all reggae idren,

Recently a French (!) eBay buyer called 'rasyak' bought a record from me and reported back to me that the record arrived broken.

In my terms and conditions i've stated clearly that i could not be held responsible for any faulty delivery, theft or damage during transit. Therefore i also offered insured shipment, but he had chosen for the oridinary (non-insured) shipping method.

He send me an email, by using the eBay mail system (!), in which he said he arrived the record, but it was broken.
After receiving some unfriendly emails he then reported to eBay that he didn't get the record and opened a claim!!

Even though i had the proof he was frauding eBay/Paypal stole the money from me and gave the money back to this buyer. I've lost my confidence in the whole eBay process, since it's a buyer oriented system.

My advice to everybody who's selling on eBay: Use insured shipping methods only!! Pick a shipping method in which you can proof you've sent a record to a buyer's address!!
