There's the version (medley) on [Jordan](http://www.roots-archives.com/release/1 ... light=2520), but I don't know whether that's a Channel One recording.

found one:
dr alimantado - ride on brother /striker lee
sounds exactly as i expected
ron, thanx. but that cut is from black ark i think the channel one credit goes to another tune on the same album.

Re: Beat Down Babylon
"Beat Down Babylon" wasn't recorded at The Black Ark to begin with, cause there was no Black Ark at that time.
Besides, the version on 'Jordan' is not the Lee Perry cut.
Btw, 'Lorna Banana' is the song credited to Byles & Perry.

... right; moreover Alimantado's Ride On Brother / Weak Heart Is Babylon is also on the original Lee Perry tape (that is if it comes on a Vital Food 7 from 1973) ...
i do not believe Bunny Lee took a shot on that rhythm ... tbh i expect it to be a recent bootleg by Mister Lee on his Striker "reissue program" of "salvaged wares" ...

Re: Beat Down Babylon
well the alimentado version is exactly same as kojak & liza, and the kojak version is a clean relick of the original one wether black ark or different label... the version sounds like all other relicks from channel 1, heavy & slow with big drum roll

Re: Beat Down Babylon
The Kojak version is indeed a 'relick', most likely recorded at Channel One.
Not quite the same as the Tado version as this is a Dynamic/Perry recording from the early 70's.
