Dub versions - Declaration of Rights

Post by Stevie »

Was out recently and heard a great dub of Declaration of Rights, now I think it was Johnny Clarke on vocals and not the Abysinians. Anyone any idea who it was dubbed by and if its on an album

Thanks

Maybe this one

Jackpot BL 2967
A Johnnie Clarke - Declaration Of Rights 03:21
B King Tubby's & The Agrovators - Dub Of Rights 03:34

Starts with Tubby's signature wipcrack (hand operated reverb unit)

Dub On! :o)

.......also a solid "dubbed to bits" version on the flip of the Don Carlos version on Wambesi 7".

One Diamonds cut of this track can be found on a Musik Works 12" disco. It has a version on the flip. They recorded it for a few different producers through the years.

If you don't have an issue with CDs the Bunny Lee produced Johnny Clarke cut (from **["Rockers Time.."](http://www.roots-archives.com/release/65/?highlight=776)**) followed by the Tubby dub can be found on **["Trojan Reggae Roots Boxset"](http://www.roots-archives.com/release/4 ... ight=60547)**
Just under 7 minutes of gorgeousness. :)
