The Eternals - more tracks sought!

Post by ACEtone »

I have only Queen of the Minstrel and Pity the Children (beautiful song) by the excellent Cornell Campbell lead Eternals.
Does anyone know of more Eternals cuts - in particular the Pity the Children period stuff?

Thanks

The Sun is a beautiful tune that Mr. Campbell would re-visit later.

I love the tune "Let's Start Again" on the album (Rhythm rulers - Mudies mood (moodisc lp))

@Chris Bre
thanks for the link - nice tune.
I still can't get to grips with this video of disk playing you Tube phenomenon. I mean, I have a turntable so it is not really an exotic thing and the sound quality is usually awful.
Can anyone shed any light on this? Is it just a way of sharing legally? there are thousands of these kinds of videos...

there are quite a few tunes ( more than 20 ) by the eternals. To name a few: stop in the name of love, stars, christmas joy, push me in the corner, you've lost your date, heading for the mountain...

And this way of sharing is not legal, just like 90% of youtube.... ( but who cares....)
Basically only the creator of the tune has the legal right to publish his stuff ( doesn't matter if it's on youtube, cd, dvd, vinyl etc..)
So if the author ( or his children ) hasn't given his permission to put it on youtube it's not legal..

Unless the material was created more than 50 years ago (and in some cases 70 ).. than it's free/legal to publish and distribute..

"Music Keep On Playing".
"You're No Good".

Both are top-notch.

any Eternals collections out there (on vinyl or CD) or are these 45s or parts of compilations?
All the tracks listed on this site are on compilations.

it would be great to get them all together on a nice reissue. Vinyl or CD - I wouldn't quibble!
