john peel sessions

Post by mr mountain »

what john peel sessions were released on wax?
i heard the culture session once and it was the best version of two sevens clash i had ever heard.
i ask, cause i really dig the whole uk thing.
i would love to have the prince far i session with dr. pablo on melodica, on wax. if anyone knows if that exists, that would be great.
-cheers

Misty in Roots also had their sessions released. I didn't see it on the Strange Fruit list that Leggo posted. Was their sessions released on another label?

I've heard the tracks and they are great.

I have the Slits, Wire, and Gang of Four Peel sessions and they are all great.

Also wanted to add that the recently released Aswad-BBC Sessions are killer.

Although, not all are Peel Sessions, some are.

Some of the tracks from the Black Roots-in session LP (BBC records), are from John Peel sessions as well (just like the Aswad mentioned above) -very nice outing indeed!
