the 3 ones fabroots mentionned are also some of my favorites.
I would add I Jah Man, he is for me one of the greatest.. Vaughn Benjamin from Midnite also has a very beautiful voice.

Re: Favourite voice?
To me the voice is crucial. The legendary roots singers all have very distinctive voices. My favorites are Joseph Hill of Culture, Pablo Moses, Hugh Mundell, Leroy Sibbles, Don Carlos (his voice still sounds as sweet as it did 20 years ago), Gregory Isaacs (it would be a crime to leave him off this list), Horace Andy, John Holt, Johnny Osbourne, Junior Murvin, Cedric Myton of The Congos, Michael Prophet, the lead singer of the Mighty Diamonds, and of course the deep baritone of Peter Tosh.

It is true that the reggea music abounds of much talented, of great voices which resonnent agreablement with the ear and which touch the hearts of the followers... Me mainly I will quote some not all so not I am likely to fill out 3 pages only while quoting my préferées like MAX ROMEO, mum MARCIA GRIFFTHS, committed poet MUTABARUKA, U-ROY, trinity meets the mighty diamound in I need has root and many more like the IN CROWD in his majesty is coming, and well of others of the old school reggae as BURNING SPEAR has full there on which the mercy of its majesty rests and which does not cease showing us the way to be followed to the meeting of its MAJESTY(tu)

Two very underrated voices are Ken Parker and Watty Burnett. Both sadly underrecorded.
All above mentioned singers are very, very good. However, I would also add Garnett Silk, Cornell Campbell and Delroy Wilson. And many, many others.
