Yes, it is also my understanding that FCD = Federal Coxsone Dodd. (According to Roger Dalke's More Scorcha discography.)

However, the C could also stand for Clement - another of the Studio 1 matrix number prefixes is CSD, which are the initials of Coxsone's full name (Clement Seymour Dodd).

Other Studio 1 matrix number prefixes based on initials:

CD = Coxsone Dodd
C&N = Coxsone & Norma (or Clement & Norma)
D. Darling = Doris Darlington (Coxsone's mother's maiden name)
FC = Federal Coxsone
JR = Jamaican Recording Company
ND = Norma Dodd (Coxsone's wife)
