Help with Reason 4.0!

does anybody know much about using reason 4.0 or really any version for that matter? i am having difficulty getting the finished product (exported as WAV file for example) to not start running the sequencers right when the whole track starts. if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it!

i know i can try a reason message board (i assume) but i like this place

I am pretty familiar with Reason 3 - did take part in the beta test of Reason 4, but not that familiar.
Might be able to help though.
I use Reason 3 for just about all the backing drums on the MightyZ All Stars tracks (check our MySpace page)
