A singer I really rate that from what I've gathered only has released three songs is Roots Wanda (or Root Wonder). He has released music strictly for King Culture and all songs are fantastic.

The only released I know by him;
Roots Wanda - Solomone / Roots Wanda - Mount Zion (Big Head, 198x, WE 001)

Root Wonder - Cry Girl / K.C.All Stars - Root's Girls (King Culture, 1981, KC 741)

Hi Benjamin

To be honest that is the only track I have. Absolute scorcher, although for some reason I prefer the shorter version on **["Phase One Collectors Edition Vol 1"](http://www.roots-archives.com/release/6 ... light=8362)**.

According to **[Phase One Discography](http://xraymusic.co.uk/)** that is their only track released on that label. No idea if they did anything else on other labels though.

I will dig out the "Children..." liner notes tonight to see if they shed any light on the matter. Pretty sure they won't, but not 100% sure.

Please let me know if you discover anything! :)

not obscure, but not mainstream either, i love to listen to 'iqulah'. his rasta philosophy album is top a top. also like 'black survivors' and would like to have heard more of devon irons. a black ark LP would have been nice.

Extracts from "Children..." liner notes;

The Terrors - Donovan and Edmund Brisset and L Lewis.
Also recorded as The Black Terrors, Kutchie and Classic Example.
Cut "Don't Bother Me" for Lloyd Campbell.
Donovan brief replacement Lloyd Rickets in The Itals
Then fronted Reggae At Will.

The Terrors' Don't Bother Me is/was available on a Jama 7" repress a few years ago along with its dub. Good song and decent pressing but sounds nothing like Assemble Not Thyself.

To these ears the tune is the same one Bitty McLean used for Never Let Me Go - so presumably the riddim is from Studio One, but I don't know the name.
