Moving on from the thread on covers, below. Who would people like to see covered on a tribute album in the same way as Bob Dylan has been.
I think Neil Young would be a good candidate, songs such as Southern Man, Alabama, Cortez the Killer all relate to some degree of European colonialism and would make good reggae covers.

Neil Young is a great artist, I have the Harvest in vynil from 72, it's a jewell. You can see the guys recording in a farm barn, the keyboardist is sat on a bundle. It's pure roots, in another way. Neil has this sweet fragile and true voice that some reggae artists have too. Good idea sean.
sometimes I listen to non reggae albums and i say to myself, this one would be amazing in reggae, but right now I don't see any, I'll be back on the thread.
