Revival Records is now where Reckless Records used to be in Berwick Street. I've picked up some absolute gems from here. They'll wet clean albums for £1 an album as well.

Nudge in Hanbury Street E1 is an absolute must visit. If you go there you can nip through to Rough Trade in Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane.

Alan's Records in East Finchley - you do need to check he is open before you go though.

Incidentally, you can walk down Berwick Street to Sister Ray's come out and turn left down the hill a couple of doors to Revival Records, out of there and turn left down Berwick Street turn left into Broadwick Street to Sounds Of The Universe. They are that close to each other.

You could start at HMV in Oxford Street if you wanted as that is 5 mins for Sister Ray's! :D

Nudge, Revival and Alan's are 2nd hand. Sister and Sounds tend to be reissues. They do have some 2nd hand albums, but, that said, I have never bought anything 2nd hand from either of them.

As you are in Notting Hill Honest John's is an absolute must visit for reissue vinyl and CDs. They do often have 2nd hand vinyl, but don't advertise it.

Haven't bought anything from Dub Vendor in Clapham in years.

Probably Notting Hill/Kensington/Ladbroke Grove/Bayswater/Hammersmith/Kensal Green/Shepherds Bush Area, will know for sure by about Dec 14th as im exploring then and finding the place.

Moving there with girlfriend who is starting a course there, starting a new life, fresh beginnings. Can study my course anywhere so im free in that regard.. Record shops and excitement for 6 months, then could stay there for longer but could be anywhere.

New places, new adventures, feels a bit stale around here at the moment, could fade into oblivion without even starting. So its london with the lady and in a few years will probably move somewhere totally random, pick a place on the map and go there stylee.

Where abouts are you Dave?

Hi Bullit,

Sounds like your keeping options pretty open and the areas you are looking at are pretty diverse. Are ypu looking at these location based on your love of reggae?

I personally come from Bow in East London, although most of my time was spent around the Hackney and Stoke Newington areas which is where most of my friends lived, its was also a hotbed for the reggae music scene with a generpous helping of clubs, record shops and so on.

I know reside in Dagenham in Essex but am also hoping to move out of the area some time in the not too distant future.

Where are you at prsent bullit?

Ah, almost forgot!! No idea how that happened as I was there on Friday!

Spitalfields Market Record Fair (E1) - every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month! Definitely worth a visit as they do have some superb stuff there.

You can then nip across to Nudge and then through to Rough Trade! :)
