i was just listening a while ago to the aswad"bbc sessions"that really took me on trip down memory lane and couldn't help wondering where all these people that comprised the original line-up are gone?mainly courtney hemmings"khaki" and georges oban(he was terrible).
maybe some of you living in the london area could give me some info?what about delroy washington and ras levi who played percussions for aswad from 1980-1983

just tell him that an old fan from the original aswad living in senegal west africa is asking about him.ho about courtney hemmings the keyboardist that wrote'back to africa' and delroy washington.i know the latter was also from the ladbroke grove area.
