Most probably an english pressing by the look and vinyl feel.
Identity of this record anyone?

I could be wrong but this album I believe is a dub album of GG`All Stars. Its a pity you did not get a chance to hear it.
If it is the album that I think it contained a dub version of Gregoty Isaacs "The Border", Leon Hyatts "Baby Be True" and also Mytones "Rivers of Babylon".
Years ago I used to have a friend who lived in the flats above Queens Market where GG`s run an outlet.
His brother had picked up an album there that I remember was in a plain cover (as apposed to no cover) with a label stuck on the outside. The label had an album title scrawled on it that I am sure had water in the title.
It had a blank label (as you mention). No idea on matrix number was though nor how many tracks were on each side.
It was a quiet a heavy dub album and the reason I remember it was that I had an old copy 12" of Gregory Isaacs "The Border" and the album contained the same dub as what was on the 12"
This was back around 1982, however the album had a dated feel and was not like the Dancehall sound of that time. The tracks on this album sounded more late 70`s.

Thank you for your thoughts Dave but you must have this one in mind [cover=1397,1613] which was on vinyl as 'Genesis 1-50 Dub' (see http://www.dubdirectory.de/revol_gg.htm).
The album in question seems to be of more recent vintage.

No, I have Macca Roots Man Dub, its definately not that one I am thinking of.
But looking at the Blood and Fire post I would assume my guess is wromg as the album that mt friends brother had was defibately not Linval Thompson.
Its funny though how things in the past can come back to you, I have not thought of this friend in ages not outr times spent hanging out around the record shelves in Queens Market.
