The bands in my country are nothing compare to Steel Pulse Or Dennis Brown. but.. they keep the Roots reggae rithym & consiousness alive here in Puerto Rico:

and if you include the US Virgin Islands we also have:
Midnite and Dezarie from St Croix, both rock.
many many more if you count all the non-roots. We have an excelent dub/electronic scene as well as a punk/reggae fusion scene.
