Who sings this?

I have a DJ CD called "love The Trees" I do not know where it is from but it is mostly roots and dancehall. I'm trying to figure out what band does one of the tracks off of it.

The song has the refrain of "leave the trees and let them be..."

....than goes on to say something about destroying our envioronment. It sounds fairly modern with the ecological ramifications but definatley has a rootsy feel. Any ideas? I'll try aqnd post more lyrics later.
