Having just acquired Fight On My Own which i am finding absolutely awesome,I would like to know how Mix Up[which i dont have]stacks up.The production on Fight On is top class.

Mix Up is generally the better album of the two in my opinion. Fight On My Own however has two tracks (+ dubs!) that I regard as Reggae Georges best. I always go back and forth between which one is my favourite of the two. But I must admit that I listen more to Fight For My Own because of it being a showcase and it also has a heavier sound and mix.

Not saying Mix Up is light weight though! »Push The Fire« from Mix Up for an instance is over the same rhythm as Prince Far I's »Throw Away Your Gun« which we all know is a cantankerous rydim!

Two of Reggae George's Hardest tunes I ever heard are on the (Humble Commision) Various Artist LP (with Barry Brown & Angela Prince). You would like this album KALCIDIS as it too is a showcase style LP. Reggae George sings two scorchers in this LP, One called "Never hang your hat" and the other called "Armageddion man". All songs that are exclusive to this limited press LP from 1985. Anybody who likes any of these three artists will absolutely love this one!!

I've seen that LP on eBay but it's horribly expensive. Haven't heard anything from it either. How are the other songs?

Ya, I saw it on e-bay too... it started off low at 20$ at first, then it went all the way to 80$+... no sound samples, so didn't pay it much attention.
