I guess the winner is gonna be slightly nervous when he/she awaits the record.

Though luck if the postal office lose the package...
Or even worse, breaks it!

if you can pay that much money for the record, why not spend a little more and buy a plane ticket to where ever the seller lives? then you don't have to worry about the post!

Just found at this morning from a big vinyl collector and Beatles fan that copies 0000001 - 0000004 went to the 4 original members of the beatles.

0000005 was also a pressing that was originallu given to George Martin who I undestand was their manager.

Wonder if this helps explain the high price

Hi Dave

I think you should read the "notes" that accompany the album on eBay. :)

Hey Simon

Just read the notes having just recieved that link from you.

The guy I spoke to is a big colector of old 6o`s albums and has many rarities.

He seemed to know what he was talking about and I have no reason to doubt him.

Perhaps 000005 was originally intended for George Martin but ended where it did.

I personally wouldnt have a clue as it not my sound nor era.

I`m just surprised you didnt pick t up when it first ame out :D

I wonder if which order they gave out those first four in?

Like did Ringo have to make do with number 000004 (again)?

Maybe Ms Mills smashed Mukka's to pieces with her prosthetic leg one day in a marriage breakdown inspired rage?

Who knows how many of those four original LPs survived the stuff those guys went through?

Given the value of this White Album I've just invested in a record lathe and an old heidleberg and will be selling numbers 000006 to 00026 in stunning near mint condition on eBay in the weeks to come.
