sadly i don't really have anything to post
as a request does any have tabs of the satta massagana chorus for sax, trumpet or trombone?

Re: playing reggae
I play by ear. Never used tabs. Not really a gear head though some things are worth discussion such as amps, effects etc.
Also I didn't get much response when I made a post a few months ago about gtrs, basses, amps etc.
I hope you have better luck!

Re: playing reggae
well, if anyone wants to learn satta on bass i found this
all credit to the guy who tabbed it,and of course the original players
Artist: The Abyssinians
Album: Satta Massagana
Song: Satta Massagana
Tab: thegonz1@hotmail.com
Riff 1:
-------------------------
-------------------------
-------------------------
-5-5-5-5-----5-5-5-5-----
Riff 2:
-------------------------
-------------------------
---5-5-5-------5-5-5-----
-5-----------5-----------
Riff 3:
-------------------------
-------------------------
-7-----------------------
---5-5-5-----5-5-5-5-----
Riff 2 (again)
Riff 3 (again)
Riff 2 (again)
Then:
Riff 4:
-------------------------
-------------------------
-7-----------7-----------
---5-5-5-------5-5-5-----
Riff 5:
-------------------------
-------------------------
---7-7-7-----7-----------
-7-------------5-5-5-----
Then repeat this pattern throughout the song.
Very easy and simple reggae bassline, but it sounds hypnotic when played
with a band.
