US reggae bands from early 80
For years i found some reggae roots bands & albums from United States . albums made from 1978 to 1984 .
with influences of marley or steel pulse & with a great creativity.
I hope US residents may help in this topic to emerge from the shadows some unknown reggae bands who made wonderful albums...
I think of bands like:
Zion Initiation
Kayawah & the movement band
Roots uprising
Monyakah
Juice - Domestic Reggae
Healin' of the Nations
Sundance
Native
More Relation etc...
Could you tell me more thx

HR/Human Rights (not including the Reggae tunes w/BAD BRAINS)
Agent 99
Ska Danks (NYC ft. Rocker T)
Gen I-Ration (San Diego,CA)
RASTAFARIANS of Santa Cruz
Al Walker Judah Selassie (DC)
SaFee YAH (DC)
LambsBread (from Boston...not the quasi-reggae group of recent years)
Ras Spider & The Equinox (from New Jersey)
Blue Riddim Band of Kansas

How about some smaller bands
Inka Inka (from San Francisco) opened for several big acts and released three albums
Rod and the I-Deals (from Humboldt, CA) had a very cool album (Truth and Rights) in the early 1990s.
Irie Vibrations (from Chico, CA)

Ethiopian Dread-Rasta Liberty is a fine LP from both that time and the US.
