Guidance is the one vocal tune that has never been released as far as I`m aware through talking to some soundmen as well as I`ve only ever heard it at a Shaka Dance in the early 90`s. I could be wrong, Does anyone else know if Guidance vocal was ever released?

Haven't you guys listened to "Dread At The Controls" show? For example you can hear the same sound effects in "At The Control Dubwise" album.

The sound effects in "Guideline" are by Mikey Dread... And the same goes for "Money Man".

The fact that you heard it at the Shaka dance doesn't make it a "Shaka dubplate", I think.

Sorry if I was unclear. I meant to say that the original sound FXs are by Mikey Dread but in this album somebody else have also used sound FXs and are totally different than the ones by Mikey Dread.

Blehh! Too hard to write this inna simple way...

Im pretty sure that "Guidance" was never released with full vocal, but am astonished to hear that Shaka has the full vocal. It must be a killa one... In case anybody got a recording, even crappy, would be curious to hear!

I've got this particular album on green vinyl, with a white lable and plain white cover with Black Ark in Dub stamped on the front. Also, the tracks a in a different order from the listing on RA.

To be honest I cant even remember when or how I got it.

Can anyone shed any light on this (not how I got it!), but on the release.

Bogus or not, I think it's a great dub album! Bought it not too long ago and it has since been returning to my TT quite often.

Mick Sleepers excellent Perry-site writes the following about this version of the album;
[cover=3826,1369]
This collection is about 50% Black Ark dubs, 50% bogus. Dubious titles cast doubt on their validity eg) "Rasta Man" is a butchered version of "Open The Gate", "Loving" is a dub of George Faith's "Guide Line" with weirdo effects thrown in.

I think my copy may be a bootleg or something. All the tracks are the same, but in a different order, for example Jah Love is the fist track on the a side or the b side as to be honest I'm not sure which is which. I never even knew the names of the tracks until a few years ago when a mate played me the original release.
