Bad taste. Bad joke. HORRIBLE.
Same words over the whole song with no funny part. Worst imitation of Jamaican Patois I've heard in a while. Seems to want to poke fun of true Rastas. What's the point in that? They don't have it particularly easy to begin with.

I disagree with those Rastas who say that kids like Ras Trent are fake or not real Rastafari.

If he prays to Jah and feels the music in his heart, who are you to say he is not true? Babylon has left many with feeling lost and alone. If Ras Trent finds a sense of worth and identity that is uplifting to him and he finds Rasta culture and values to be in tune with what he knows in his heart to be true and right, then who are you to downpress?

I think the skit was intended to poke fun at "posers" who dress the part outwardly but don't "get it". When, I used to DJ shows I had to keep myself in check or else I'd start to get vexed at the frat kids coming in to our shows just so they could get high in front of their buddies in public to try to convey an image of being a "cool rebel". It was obvious the meaning of the music and the reason we were playing it was lost on them.

im a white male and i beleve firmly in the rastafarian religion and movement, i believe in that haille selassie had a good message that all people should live together and love each other as one people, and untill the philosophy that states one race is superior and one inferior falls there is war, so we say war

any way thata partly the point...i very recently shaved off my dreadlocks and everybody i know is now going that your not rasta... i mean its not a fasion statement yeah they look good but i mean you dont have to have the dreds to believe in the right thing .

the vid is funny- its poking fun at "trust"afarians. Trust fund kids who go to college and wanting to be more cool or rebel against their parents. Its not meant to be taken as more than that.
