Bob Marley Song Info

Post by jahlionyouth »

hey i have heard a song with the title bass is heavy...line goes the bass is heavy the drummer is steady..said we re having a real good time..

my question is where and when was the song recorded...

and what about the songs jailbreaker, jump them...same question as above.. I don't think they belong to the yvette recordings because they dont sound like the songs from this session

There are at least two recordings of this song...

First one in 1978,vocal + guitar if Im right...
And second one in 1980 or even 1981, said to be Bob's last recording, along with Slogans (same session). Its recorded with a drummachine riddim.

It has never been officially released so haffi deal with bootlegs traders!

Those two songs are from one of the two 'mother b tapes', here is a little information [here](http://marley.wikia.com/wiki/Mother_B%27s_Bedroom_Tapes)
