I am about at the end of assembling a vinyl collection of these and I have this remaining question - were the releases below available on vinyl?
BAFLP037 - Niney the Observer - Microphone Attack 1974-1977
BAFLP043 - Ranking Joe - Zion High
BAFLP045 - The Abyssinians and Friends - The Tree of Satta Vol 01
BAFLP046 - Dennis Brown Presents Prince Jammy - Umoja / 20th Century DEBwise
Thanks
Gregg

Re: Another B&F question?
as far as i know with
Niney the Observer - Microphone Attack 1974-1977
various 7" 7 12" in vinyl format, not a real lp.
Ranking Joe - Zion High
basically this is the vinyl release, minus some tracks from the CD version.

Dennis Brown Presents Prince Jammy - Umoja / 20th Century DEBwise
both are vinyl, and reissued too.

Re: Another B&F question?
If those are the matrix numbers, it seems they all are vinyl issues. CD's had a BAFCD number.

Re: Another B&F question?
i think dudley one is answering a question that has not been asked.
about b&f releases i know for sure the tree of satta one came out on vinyl, but im not sure about the others. i faintly recall seeing the d brown one on vinyl and i may even have it but im not home to check. i do know the original issues were reissued by DEB a couple years ago.
just to clarify: you DO want to know if blood and fire/simply vinyl ever issued vinyl copies of these, right? not the original issue like dudley is referring to, but a b&f/sv release.

Re: Another B&F question?
Yes - if either a B&F/Simply Vinyl existed.
As for the about comment about Microphone Attack - am I understanding correctly in that a LP from B&F/SV did not exist but only a group of 7's or 12's? If so than for all intents and purposes it is available only on CD (and not LP)?
Thanks
Gregg

Re: Another B&F question?
None of these were ever released on vinyl by neither BAF or SV. There were some tunes of the Abyssinians album released as 7" by the Abyssinians label Click at the time. None of the tracks from the Niney have been released by BAF, probably some of them are available on Observer reissues. The Dennis Brown Dub sets were rereleased by DEB, as Jah Bill wrote.

Re: Another B&F question?
I am looking strictly for B&F/SV reissues - not the originals.
For example I believe that title "Darker Than Blue: Soul FromJamdown" was not released on vinyl by either B&F/SV but rather via Honest Jons PK - am I correct???
The Niney Microphone Attack release, by what I am gathering in this post, was released by B&F only on CD ???
The Dennis Brown Umoja - Jah Bill wrote that it exists on vinyl via DEB however I want to know if it was released by B&F on vinyl - perhaps only as a CD ???
Same questions with Ranking Joe & the Satta album - vinyl by B&F or CD only???
Is there a DEFINITIVE B&F discography somewhere which accurately lists which releases were on vinyl - either stamped by B&F or Simply Vinyl - or in the case of Darker Than Blue by Honest Jons/PK ???
Thanks to all
Gregg
PS obviously the reasons for the questions are because I am attempting to put together a complete collection of B&F releases vinyl only - and then fill in CD's in the case that there were no vinyl releases (ie the Heavyweight Dub collectiions etc.)

If you're thinking of the Inner Circle & Fatman Riddim Section collection then it was released on vinyl by SV in 2000.
