Burning Spear resides in New York now, but travels the world as you already know! The USA gives Jamaican artists such a run-a-round when it comes to getting VISA'S to play....dat no irie~

most modern USA reggae sucks!!(im from socal) I see reggae going the same way punk did here years back, trendy POP. cant stand the screchie winey voice like in JB body(10ft is much better) and groundation. the seemingly rapid catching style of vocals that reminds me of a gargoyle singing or something, even beter Smigel singing. Groundations Musicians are outstanding though, need to lose the singer. and don't ask me about matis"yahoo".
sorry to sound negative but i like much better the newer roots from other countries. Though it has it's good side to the popularity here, more people, more dunny equals more availible and reissues, for me!
Blood fyah angels, this does not consern u.
sorry white dreads, im just a reggae music fan and BIG critic. not tring to offend anyone just i&i opinion.
another positive aspect is US reggae is getting better and better these days scince late 80's and all through the 90's. correct me but, maybe a new revolution in reggae music is hear and ever slowly rising.
