Is supposedly dubs (all/some?) from his *Rock With Papa Madoo* album. Haven't heard it unfortunately it's just what has been told to me.

And, yeah. He has got a fantastic style. I've only got the *Rock With Papa Madoo* (doubles) but I really would like to have *You Turn Me On*.

I started some thread last week looking for some vocal versions for the dubs on the King Tubby Studio verses Channel One Studio lp .Some suggested that one of the track is a Madoo version of People Funny (Boy) .The voice does indeed sound like Madoo. Any idea which Madoo track it could be?

I've got a cracking sound tape featuring Madoo, its on Stereophonic circa 81. Oddly enough he sings a cut called 357 Magnum with Peter Ranking and General Lucky.

I'm not sure if he officially recorded and released it though.

I know he has recorded a WICKED song (as a deejay) called .44 Magnum. It's on the Mukasa label (anyone got a spare copy PM me!) and a next cut to »Young Little Girl«, also by Maddo (but as a singer). Is that the one you're thinking of perhaps?

Just listened to the King Tubby verses Channel One and I do not think that it is Madoo actually. I would rather guess an imitator (like Badoo) is the culprit. I feels like there's missing something from the voice for it to be Osbert Madoo.

I was just listening to the beginning of the Badoo & General Echo 12" Roses Are Red /Track Shoes , and it does indeed sound like Badoo did the track I'm looking for.

[cover=6022,3457]

Where Were You (Madoo) = Weary Dub
Give me Your Love (Madoo) = Techniques Special
Sister Sue (Madoo) = Fashion Dub

Hotel Fee (Madoo) = Enforcer Dub

If anyone can tell me what the vocal cut is to "Dub Feeling", I would be a happy man.
