i heard lately that fams lost his lawsuit against universal/island group and the marley estate.what's is mora on all 23 counts of charge,no matter the fact that it has been well documented that barrett and his drummer brother were responsible for composing some of the songs that were unduly attributed to marley.
this court ruling is all the more disgusting that it came out at bob's 25th death anniversary
what kind of world and justice is that

I think that Family Man got a lot of money a few years ago, signign a contract, that he wouldnt claim any copyrights in the future, no wonder he's been losing

David is right family man signed the contract saying he would not sue but I think in all fairness he should have gotten something because he played a major role in defining Bob marley and the wailers.

I know that family man just signed the contract because it was Rita that said after Bob's death, that the wailers will get some money. All they had to do was just to sign that contract. If they didn't sign that contract Rita said that the wailers will get nothing from Bob's money

I guess I read it in the catch a fire biography.
After Bob's Death Rita stepped into the room, I guess she brought a lawyer with her and giving the wailers members each one of them a contract to sign and some money I guess it was not very much money. First they didn't want to sign it, but at least they did, because Rita said that will be the only offer that she will make.
