Michael Rose? I thought he couldn't travel in the US because his visa was revoked due to gun charges or something like that. Perhaps this matter has been settled & now he can again do shows in the US. That's great news. I'm not a fan of the sound quality at that venue, but if he's gonna be there, i just might have to make the trip!

not gun charges but old time uhuru runnings as im told...while some in uhuru were doing some sketchy things, roadies mostly, rose wasnt involved officially in any of that. 10 lb of weed in a suitcase, maybe...

anyway i will believe it when i see it. evidently he is in florida right now so hes able to get in the country and live in his house so thats something.

This will be my second year not attending. The lineup is not that great imo for the price. I just wanted to see Mad Professor and Pablo Moses.

yeah pretty much the same as the long beach line up.... not all that impressive.

I would have to agree with irie vibes, the sound at the San Diego Sports Arena is God awful. They must hire regular sound guys who have never mixed roots before, because it is seriously horrible. The bass is usually distorted the entire show. Plus the line up doesn't intrigue me very much this year. I'm going to have to say no attendance for me.
