Reggae On The Moon + Early Days by Moodie (as listed in RA).. Always rated these lps since i got em somewhere during nineties..
Guess theyre compilations of seventies recordings, or even more recents toast over old tunes?
Never seen any outings of him released during seventies..
Who knows the story behind these and his other albums?
Possibly seen this guy hanging out with Barry Isaacs in London, but could be another Moodie..

I read somewhere that Harry Mudie had the same producer
as the Police at some occasion and that "reagge on the moon"
was not really Stings creation - don't know how true that is...

Yes, am a big fan of Harry Mudie the producer too, the man behind the Moodisc-label..
But looking for any info on the DJ/toaster called Moodie; not the same guy..

There doesn't seem to be too much out there on Moodie but from what I know he was born in Port Antonio,Portland, Jamaica and got started in the music industry in 1970. His first release was a single in '73 and he was deejaying for the Fatman sound in England.

your inquiry of the song you heard upon entering the website was " Dub With A Difference". Available
on Lp or CD titled " Harry Mudie Meet King Tubby in Dub Conference Vol. 1 " on Moodisc label (HM-CD-
50108). As for Horace Johnson there is no album available with him. Quadstar Volume 1 & 2 is
available on seperate Lps, but are together on 1 CD (HM-50110). Also available on Moodisc label. As
for the version with trombone to "Love Without Feeling" the name is "Theme From The Gun Court".
Presently only available on 7 inch vinyl. The two Glad Stone Anderson albums are also available on
CD 1 titled " It May Sound Silly" (HM-50103) and CD 2 titled " Glady Unlimited" (HM-CD-50109). As for
the Drifter the original version was written by Harry Mudie & Dennis Vassel in 1968. Also there is an
album or CD available with various Drifter's version album titled "Reggae Bible Book Of Drifters Oldie
and New Testament" also available on Moodisc Records(HM-CD-50118 ). I hope I have answered all
