Dj's/poets/dubbers in chant.

Post by Fabroots »

hey people,
i collect only vocal old roots from 1970/85, sometimes i heard of a album where a dubber or mixer or dj SING (Jah Shaka, Horsemouth Wallace by exemple) im scared to miss some cause i dont know in what album they sing, is there any vocal Scientist album? Is King Tubby a crazy singer?Where are the songs of Mad professor?? ^^
I need advice, thanks in advance.

Dunno about mixers singing but what about players of instrument who change places and take the mic?

Like Errol Flabba Holt's Visions of Africa LP where one of reggae's greatest bass players sings instead of plays.

But I guess that doesn't really count does it?
