"Latin Reggae Roots (Spanish Roots)"...I guess you mean Reggae in spanish performed by latinamerican musicians.
Nuff people confuse in english.

There is quite a bit of "spanish" Roots reggae( real Roots Reggae produced by Spanish musicians) but not always in the spanish language, the best stuff is instrumental / dub or sung in english, sometimes by jamaican artists over the riddims). I guess is very unknown in America ( I mean the whole continent, not the english-speaking part).
Much more genuine than the "latinamerican reggae" and better produced IMO.

That's a great jamaican song...with spanish guitar!
( but hardly "spanish roots"!)
Many jamaican recordings have that "spanish" influence, chord progressions.

Is that a reissue?

Are you sure?
Cause I've heard 3 different cuts, and this doesn't sound like the original( well, I thought it was ?) 60s release
( doesn't mention Dwight Pinkney as the songwriter....and didn't have the overdub late 70s kick drums...and is in a different key: Bflat)
this looks and sounds like a 80s reissue....but you are more knowledgable than me.

anyway, is not important at all...this thread is about a different subject!:)
