18 months sounds like a bogus weed conviction.

When did Fort Augustus come out, I think it was a little earlier than 81, but that could have been about his experience there.

Jux used the time to compose and learn to play instruments.

Why everyone so interested in private life alla sudden deh so?
Jux was a tough man. No messing. A tough man. But sincere. If him was on your side then you need fear no man. He was also a sincere rastaman. Him not into no drugs business so forget that, apart from the usual herbs. but a man has to fight when you come from the ghetto and Junior aaarticle ghetto youth fi true. (And what was the badness Dennis was into? Dennis was a victim of badness, not a villain. Think about it. Too many peopel just believe the labba labba dem hear.) You think a peaceful rastaman like Augustus Pablo would have been team up with Jux if he was really a bad guy? But that rough voice don't come from easy living.
Babylon put Jux in prison. If you want to know you coulda find out through the channels. But don't let it deceive you. I had some work runnings with him once and he was an easy man to get along with. The man was a bredda and worthy of our admiration.
STAND UP FOR YOUR HEROES. DEM WON'T COME AGAIN. THEY DIDN'T SING FOR MONEY, THEY SANG FOR LOVE AND TO COMMUNICATE THE REAL PEOPLE LIFE. IF DEM HAVE WEAKNESS THAT IS OK. THEY ARE HUMAN STILL. ONLY JAH IS PERFECT.
