no it's not only you. I have the same problem with firefox version 2.0.0.16 and Windows 2000 at work, and it also happens sometimes with long list of links to records on RA.

I have no problem at home with a Linux/Firefox 3 configuration

Yes, there was actually a bug with firefox 2 : all the links in front of the google ads couldn't be clicked !

It should be fixed now...

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.5 on two different Macs and it exhibits erratic and annoying behaviour from time to time.
On this computer if I want to copy text, I always have to do it twice to make it work. On my other mac once is fine. On this machine I often can't make apostrophes work (it's working now!) - only in this forum. But on my other mac this problem does not exist at all.
Maybe the version of FF on the other machine is a later version - but yes there are weird happenings to be found in crazy old browser land.

Not to worry, the internet as we know it will be gone soon enough and we will once again be banging out 'transmittals' on carbon copy paper using (God's?) golfball typewriters. Forget carpal tunnel, tinnitus here we come! Clak, clack, clackity, clack, clack, DING! THUNK!
P3n15 3nl4r83m3n7 spam will be in the form of crudely printed fliers surreptitiously stapled to corkboard forums and it will only be possible to deter the spammers by posting a burly mod at the board, wielding a baseball/cricket bat.

Viruses, netbots and other forms of nastiness will come in the form of naughty criminal types (with stripy shirts, blacks pants and eye masks, needless to say) wearing Harry Potter type invisibility cloaks, permanently hovering around forum boards and causing mischief - tearing up all legitimate posting and replacing them with for example, real live worms and...

...it was all a dream...the internet is safe afterall...it is...isn't it?

couldn't be arsed...

no seriously.
some time ago Safari (through little fault of Apple's as far as I can tell) proved to be unable to handle the bits of the web I was interested in so I started using Firefox - the stuff I wanted to work and still does - I'm running a 5 yr old machine and unlikely to upgrade in the near future.
Automatic upgrading is nonsensical. Got that turned off big time.
I use Protools 6.4 in a Panther partition. Panther was relatively speaking terrible (better than any windoze I ever had to deal with) - it had problems with mail and other mysterious stuff - but that's where i do the music and the machine can handle it.

If I ever get a noo puter, but for now, upgrades are for those that can do.

I had the most horrible day.
