"Johnny Clarke - "Play Fool Fe Get Wise", and Prince Jammy's brilliant dub version of this song is one that should be mentioned. The ending part of the dub is especially scary."
kukuman, you're quite right, glad someone else is with me on this. the last 30 seconds or so of that dub are pure madness!! so much going on, a really cauldron of sounds, and none of it is nice.

Anybody remember "Rock Against Racism" aka "Willing" by the Cimarons, very slow-building, deep, heavy track. Also maybe "Ghost Dance" by Prince Buster, some underlying menace in that.
